Good Reasons To Wear a School Uniform
Here are some good reasons for wearing a school uniform:
- It gives each child the feeling of belonging to the school body.
- It presents the school to the public as a united, proud group of children.
- It gives each child a feeling of equality.
- It assists with character building and self-discipline.
- It is designed to help protect children from harmful rays of the sun.
- It saves arguments between parents and children about what is to be worn to school.
- It stops children pestering their parents to buy expensive clothes just to keep in fashion.
- Students are easily identifiable, especially on excursions. This helps us not to lose any!
- Uniforms create a sense of school pride and identity, especially at sporting events or music festivals.
- It's cheaper. Good clothes are kept for special events whereas it doesn't matter if paint or glue is spilt on a uniform. Just throw it in the wash and wear it again!
