Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Gorokan Public School is a caring and close-knit community school. We have a very supportive parent community and encourage participation by community members in the decision-making processes within the school. We believe that teachers and parents working together makes the most difference to a child’s educational experience.

Students are the central focus of our attention and the dedicated staff cater for the educational, physical, social, emotional and cultural needs of every student. We encourage students to develop independence, a love of learning and a desire to be active and caring members of the school and its community.

A focus on developing the whole child is a major factor in the success and happiness of students at Gorokan Public School.

The school has a positive, cooperative, inclusive culture that supports all students and encourages all students to achieve their personal best.

Jesmond Zammit, Principal of Gorokan Public School
